If you were to ask me which work of art by Rebecca Cox would be my favorite, I would have to tell you this one.You may not know who Rebecca Cox is, or be able to identify her work, however, if you've spent a lengthy amount of time on the net, you've probably ran across one of her images. Whether it's this one, or one of her fairy art works, or of her maidens, her work draws the attention of the novice web designers who often feature artwork on their personal site.
What draws me to the artist's work is her use of emotions and the romantic tone to them. In this one, I see a look of longing. An ethereal being who watches over her earth bound lover, wanting to be with him.
Somehow, this one piece had grab hold of my attention and would not let go. Perhaps this is why when I began purchasing tubes, this was the first one that I purchased.
